外教Andrew Green写给培才学生的一首诗

THE PEICAI STUDENTS PLEDGE.

  Andrew Green, 英国人，教师、流行歌手、演员、作家，现任湛江一中培才学校初二口语教师。他为人善良开朗，爱生如子，乐于助人，经常对有需要帮助的人施予援手，虽然他自己本身并不富裕。在培才任教以来，深受学生的喜爱，为了回馈学生的爱，他为学生作诗一首。

THE PEICAI STUDENTS PLEDGE

As a student be kind, be true, be trustworthy, honest and polite.

Be willing to learn, study as well as being courteous and respectful to both your teachers and fellow students.

Be aware that as a student you are part of a team as well as being part of the Peicai fraternity.

Show respect and tolerance to your fellow students because the sum of many is much stronger than the sum of one.

If you can help and support your fellow students in their times of need, give your help to them..then do.

No one person is as strong as a group focused and together in unison and in harmony.

This is the Peicai pledge.

And it represents the best qualities in its students...Not just for your time spent here but a beginning of your journey

through life, work, and one day your own family.

If you, the student, adhere to this simple, yet profound code of both ethics and humanity, it will one day see you develop as both a good, kind individual as well as a life long reminder of who you are and where you began your own personal journey into life and all of its beauty and mysteries.

It is a code for life and living and that is why it is more than just simple words and truths to be read once and then put away...these words are for you throughout your life.
